Ellie is a somewhat naive 10 year old girl, living with her parents in a small town in Massachusetts. Ellie is a smart girl when it comes to book smarts, something her family
is very proud of-- but she can be quite gullible, and thats something her best friend and classmate Ali can sometimes take advantage of just to mess with her! She's typically top
of her 6th Grade class which is great for her acedemically but socially she's seen as a sorta nerdy outcast, much like Ali (for different reasons though). Partly her abnormally Large
backpack she carries around a lot doesn't help that much, but she's prepared for almost anything! Personality wise though, Ellie can be seen as an introverted nerd, whos interest lie more
with anime, video games and manga than socializing- of course school comes before anything but any free time she has is spent watching her favorite shows on TV and tending to her endless
collection of Virtual Pets she raises!
Ali is laid back chill 13 year old girl, who lives a few blocks from Ellie, Alone with her mother who is rarely around and busy working to keep food on the table. Ali, is the most part a child raised by the internet. Most of her time is spend on blogs, forums, and probably
sketchy webzones. This unrestricted access to the unfiltered web has had Ali develop deep deep interests in the occult, supernatural but most of all.. Extraterrestrial. You can find her constantly learning of
new 'REAL' leaked alien footage, seeing 'SHOCKING' cryptid photos, and a deep distrust for a government that she honestly doesn't really understand or know- just knows they can't be trusted! It's a special interest that she holds very dear, however
unlike Ellie, she doesn't manage her time quite as well. Schooling and Ali don't go well together; in fact some could call her a deliquent. She tends to skip class, doesn't do assignments, cheats on tests, everything
like that. She is similarly seen as a outcast for her interests, and other things.
